Fresh Free-Range Eggs Just a Stroll from Catherine Cottage

There are loads of places to buy free range, organic eggs just a stones-throw from Catherine Cottage in Ashford in the Water, but one of our favourites is the Morris Family Farm on Station Road in Great Longstone. Set up and managed by Allen and Nicola Morris, who wanted to live a more self-sufficient life, their ‘micro-small holding’ is now home to over 100 happy hens who produce a seemingly plentiful supply of delicious free-range eggs that are always available to buy from the convenient honesty box next to the small holding gate when we are walking past. And to make life easier you can now pay by credit card, using a QR code. For guests looking to experience authentic Peak District produce and support a local family business, we really recommend a swing by.
